Smile Train India is a children centered initiative with a sustainable approach to a single problem: cleft lip and palate. Smile Train India provides 100%-free cleft repair surgeries and comprehensive cleft care to children across the country. Children with untreated clefts have trouble eating, breathing and speaking, facing isolation and ostracism. With a network of over 160+ partner hospitals, Smile Train India has delivered over 4,90,000 safe and quality-assured cleft surgeries since 2000.This has been possible due to the support of our patrons including individual and corporate donors and partnerships with various state governments under the National Health Mission, Border Security Force (BSF) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). With over 35,000 children born with clefts every year, and hundreds of thousands still awaiting surgery, Smile Train India continues to not only provide treatment at zero-cost to every child with a cleft, it continues to train and empower local doctors and medical practitioners.Treatment of clefts comes under ‘Tertiary Medical Prevention,’ as defined by the WHO.

It set up the Bharat Rural Livelihoods Foundation to champion this model. BRLF intends to multiply the pace, quantum and quality of development in Adivasi commununities and reach the last mile in every poverty pocket through its model of essential partnerships. BRLF through a holistic combination of funding and facilitiation is aggregating and streamlining each partner’s strengths to optimise and increase the flow of financial, institutional and human resources to the states in the Central India Tribal Region. BRLF’s geography comprises about 1077 blocks with more than 20 % Adivasi population covering 190 districts in the states of Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Gujarat.

JanaJal is a social enterprise that is working on the AAA philosophy which is making safe water Accessible, Available and Affordable through installation and operation of automated water ATMs built in a technology agnostic manner. The company has recently introduced WOW – Water on Wheels, a mobile water ATM built on a battery operated e-rickshaw enabling last metre delivery to residential areas in urban and rural India.
